Clinically Proven Benefits

The development process for pre-Conceive took over three years to complete.

When the formulation was finally ready, the founder commissioned an independent clinical examination of the formula to see if it could correct fertility issues in men and women.

The results of this study, a landmark example of the importance of nutrition in reproductive health led to the company motto; Research – Evidence – Results.

The Participants

The highly regarded research team conducted a robust study by setting strict criteria in the recruitment process. 40 people / 20 couples were identified in Ireland.

  • The average age was 37
  • Each one of the 40 participants were diagnosed as infertile twice in a 12 month period - meaning a male and female factor issue
  • The participants were at various stages of their infertility journeys, including those who had failed assisted reproduction treatments.

The Protocol

The protocol for the trial was developed to reflect the user-experience of pre-Conceive at home.

Each individual was provided with three boxes of pre-Conceive, to take for ninety days. They also met with an independent nutritional therapist who presented all participants with five dietary and lifestyle modifications.

At the end of their ninety-day course, they returned to the clinic to provide new samples for examination.

Female Participants

We wanted to demonstrate that pre-Conceive could improve the quality of the reproductive cycle, allowing for conception to ensue. In doing so, we focused on the participants hormonal profile, their AMH levels, and key fertility markers associated with fertility, conception, implantation and miscarriage, as well as the nutritional markers involved in these processes.

Female Results

After the three month pre-Conceive course, the tests were again carried out and found that:

  • 100% of our applicants improved their hormonal profile, a monumental shift in supporting their reproductive processes,
  • 71.43% of Women improved their AMH levels,
  • 60% of women improved in the antioxidant marker Superoxide Dismutase (Protects follicle and egg quality),
  • 60% of women improved the antioxidant marker Glutathione Peroxidase (Improves fertilisation and conception rates),
  • there were improvements in B12, Folate and Vitamin D3 levels.

"The Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) is a general indicator of the state of ovarian reserve in women. It appears that many women in the group were below, or close to, the lower threshold levels. It appears to be very much age related and very difficult to accurately quantify. It appears that 71.43% of women had an improvement in their levels over the period. In my opinion, PillarHealthcare’s pre-Conceive product is the best available for a single dose material.”

Dr. David Smallbone

  • Hormone Profile

    100%

of women improved their hormone profile.

  • AMH Levels

    71.43%

of women had improvement in their AMH levels.

  • Superoxide Dismutase

    60%

improved in the antioxidant marker superoxide dismutase

  • B12 Levels

    82%

of women had improved B12 levels

Male Participants

The experts wanted to demonstrate that pre-Conceive could improve male fertility markers allowing for conception to ensue. The focus was on: the number of sperm cells being produced, the overall quality of the sperm cells, as well as improving the all-important DNA package within the sperm cells, improving both natural conception and assisted reproduction.

Male Results

After the 90 day course, a full semen analysis, an examination into DNA fragmentation, as well as general blood-work showed:

  • 85% of men improved their Progressive Motility
  • 79% of men improved their Total Motility
  • 71% improved their Overall Sperm Count
  • 81% showed improvements in the DNA of their sperm cells
  • 66% of men improve their morphology
  • 82% of men improved the antioxidant marker Glutathione Peroxidase

“pre-Conceive consciously provides those specific nutritional needs for full fertility health to be achieved. It may be that, inmost cases, very little else is required – except time."

Medical Conclusions on the study

  • "In conclusion, I believe the report favourably shows that providing adequate nutritional materials can and does influence the body systems. It becomes apparent that important systems, such as the endocrine system, can be affected by correct nutrition but it needs time and six months is not an unreasonable amount of time, especially when several years of nutritional abuse lie behind the problem. Unless the nutritional requirements of the body are specifically catered for, it is highly unlikely that full health can be expected. pre-Conceive consciously provides those specific nutritional needs for full fertility health to be achieved. It may be that, in most cases, very little else is required - except time. It is important that when fertilisation ensues, that the nutritional support is maintained for full potential development of the foetus."

  • "pre-Conceive combined with nutritional advice improves the levels of key fertility and nutritional parameters, though a larger study is required to validate if pre-Conceive can improve overall fertility in patients."

  • The study conducted by Pillar Healthcare is fascinating. Our nutritional status has a direct impact on our health and fertility is no different. This study, which we are proud to be a part of has peaked a lot of interest in the fertility community.

  • Pillar Healthcare have broken the mould with their approach. The study will yield fascinating insights into the link between nutrient deficiencies and infertility. The link has been shown for decades now and correcting these deficiencies are incredibly important for men and women trying to conceive.

    The Clinical Team
  • Over the years, I have seen several interesting developments in the fertility landscape. pre-Conceive and Pillar Healthcare are creating an approach to fertility that has changed how we look at supplementation. This study, examining pre-Conceive in a clinical setting on male and female, is a first for Europe and we are proud to be involved. Nutritional status plays a key role in our health and fertility markers. Evidence strongly suggests that nutrient deficiencies can impair our fertility, pre-Conceive, is the way forward.

    The Clinical Team
  • The clinical team are proud to have Pillar's pre-Conceive available for our patients. We need to examine the area of infertility from all aspects and nutrition is a key component of this.

    The Clinical Team
  • The therapeutic nature of pre-Conceive gives our patients the researched levels of nutrients to help correct nutritional deficiencies. This therapeutic, all-in-one product covers the basis for all men and women in my clinic.

    The Clinical Team
  • A balanced and healthy diet are crucial for helping us maintain our health. Though over the past few decades our nutritional status has declined and our lifestyles have become more sedantary, stressed and overall more hectic. Nutritional supplementation can and should be considered by those struggling to conceive. pre-Conceive by Pillar Healthcare is the first option in our clinic.
